How can I get my commercial canon printer to print colors that match my computer screen?

Our company prints newsletters, brochures, etc. for ourselves and clients. Our Canon color printer/copier will NOT reproduce true blues in any shade…they always look like purple. Help! I like purple, but blue would be nice too.
The printer model is Canon iR C3220 C1 PS

As you did not give the model, it is impossible to guess. But most commercial printers have a utility or toolbox that loads on the PC that allows color correction.
Secondly check the grpahic program you are using to see if it has a color correction feature. If you can not correct the printer, then color the graphic to be OFF color the same as the printer. Then when you get a blue on the montor, it should be the same on the printer.
The other alternative is to check your monitor and/or video card and see if either of them offer color correction, and then adjust the display to OFF color the same as the printer.
